Today we met my in-laws for lunch. It was a nice lunch, but the kids were pretty worn out, so we cut out a bit early, hoping that they would both take a nice, long snooze in the car. It's been a bit cooler here, since our streak of 90+ degree weather, but today, was again, pretty hot. The boy was so sleepy and needy, so I was carrying him out to the car. As I put him in the back seat and begin to buckle him in, he says "mama, it's freakin' hot. it's freakin' hot, huh?" Yup. Parents of the Year.

Parents of the Year
Don't judge me, but there are words in my life that I have used for as long as I can remember. I don't recall ever really really getting in trouble for using these words, although I do remember hearing someone coin them as "Christian cuss words." I don't use real cuss words. (Well, I try not to.) Anyhow.

We had to stop using the word 'stupid' when Jackson was about Emery's age, because everything adn everyone was stupid. Recently he's picked up using the "oh crap" a lot and we're working really gard to fix that one these days. Its just funny how something that doesn't sound bad in your head sounds so different coming from those little mouths.
that's hilarious. Brek enjoys the words "crap" and "gosh"...to which she always fixes and says "oh I mean, oh Man! or Oh my goodness!"
yesterday we were all in the car and Brek was talking about "going to Gavin's house while Mommy and Daddy had to go to the church with everyone else...then Gavin's mommy came home, and Gavin pushed me and his mommy said 'Gavin, you don't push Breklinn, she's a girl!!' But I thought it was funny Mommy, it was my Gavin."
It cracked us up. She even did "your" voice while she was telling the story. You're gonna have to come up for a visit now.:) Love you guys.
Things to look foreward to. That's great ( : Thanks againg for your help on Sunday. The pics and video were great. I'm so glad you guys were there.
